Wiki Experience:

In general, I feel like the use of Wikispaces in this course has made it that much more interesting and interactive. It was a great way for students to share their knowledges on certain topics. Through creating pages on the Wikispaces, the learning process was more fun and it really made us spend the time into looking at what information we needed to put onto the Wiki and have it useful. This was my first experince with Wiki and I would have to say that it has been a good one. If only other course would adapt to this, rather than using WebCT or CCNET.

Suggestions:

I don't have much suggestions because I find the Wiki very easy to use and helpful. However, I would suggest mabye spend a little more time in the beginning of the course going through how to make a Wiki and what is considered a good contribution. Especially in a summer course where the time frame is so short, it would help if maybe more was dicussed onto that.

Contributions:

My contributions varied throughout the wikispaces. I started the Google page, as well as the Xanga page. I also defined the terms synchronous and asynchronous communications.
